General Details
Description
We are looking for a full-time senior / intermediate developer with the following requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years development experience
- Backend: Laravel 5.6 (Nova experience a plus), High Test Coverage, Clean PSR Code
- Frontend: Must know one of the main Javascript frameworks (preferably VUE), SASS, NPM
- Obvious requirements are of course HTML, Git & RESTful API.

Based in Somerset West specialising in the hospitality industry. Provide computer applications (such as reservations,
on-line bookings, stock systems etc.) to clients all over South Africa and 7
international countries.
The job is mainly office bound, but travel is offered for candidates
who wish to travel (both local and international) to implement and train
customers on-site.
The working environment is family oriented where people assist each
other.
Ample opportunity exists for growth in various other areas of the
company including account management, sales, development etc.
Technical Testing skills (some
knowledge, exposure and/or experience of):
-to be able to develop and interpret Test Documentation
-to be able to create and develop test
cases
-to be able to interpret the functional
requirements of company products within the testing environment
-to be able to use spreadsheet or
similar tools in order to be able to create system integration testing files,
logic test tables to validate test tasks and activities in a test schedule, the
capturing of data etc.
-to be able to execute test cases
-to be able to monitor and measure
progress, and compile results
-SQL basics for functional testing (is
preferable but not necessary)
Application Software
Skills:
-Ability to understand the functionality
of hospitality applications
Personal Skills:
-Ability to deal with detail and to be able to work
independently
