Construction Safety Officer

Company Based in Midrand seeks a SHEQ Officer to provide support in order to effectively maintain, manage and continuously improve the Health and Safety, Environmental and Social Codes, policies and practices of the company.

Basic Requirements:

Applicant must have a formal qualification in Safety

3-5 years experience as a Safety Officer

Registration with SACPCMP is essential

Ability to work and travel throughout South Africa

Valid drivers license essential, and must be of sober habits.

Must have excellent Microsoft Office Skills

Experience in the Construction Industry as a Safety Officer

Experience in the Optic Fiber Industry will be advantageous

THE APPLICANT WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

Compilation of H & S Files

Conducting Site Audits

Maintaining of Safety Files

Ensuring all Health and Safety Standards are adhered to.

Ensuring all clients standards and requirements are met.
