A long standing and reputable Electrical Contractor in the Overberg has a vacancy for a young experienced electrician who has been exposed to electrical construction, general work, solar and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

New electrical installations, domestic, industrial and LV reticulation

Fault finding and repairs to electrical installations

Carry out general electrical maintenance and repairs

Experience with solar and backup installations would advantageous

Key Competences:

Qualifications, Technical and Functional knowledge and skills

Qualified electrician or Millwright would be advantageous with at least 3 yrs experience

Ability to read electrical drawings and strong fault-finding capabilities

Valid drivers licence

Computer literacy

Essential Behavioural competencies :

Strong attention to detail

Able to work alone

Well organised

Work under pressure

Excellent communication skills
