Welding Screens and Curtains

Welding curtains can be used as a partitioning method to protect other workers from welding arch, sparks and molten metal. Available as:

• fully assembled or kit-form
• with or without wheels
• 2m high x 2m wide
• yellow PVC sheets* or red/light green PVC strips**

• Yellow PVC sheet 2 m x 2 m at R360 excl VAT each
• Yellow PVC sheet 3 m x 2 m at R540 excl VAT each
• Red/light green PVC 200 mm x 2 mm strips R62/m excl VAT

* The popular yellow screen is often sold as a welding screen. However it does not protect the eyes of co-workers against flash arc. The correct term for those screens is spark arrester.

** The red/light green welding strips remove 99.9% UV to ensure optical safety of workers not involved in welding operation.
