A vacancy for an Assistant Collections Manager exists in a leading Micro Finance organisation based in central Durban.The successful candidate MUST understand and have previously engaged in the following: THIS IS NON NEGOTIABLE and please DO NOT respond if you have no knowledge of the requirements below. Duties and Responsibilities: · Prepare daily, weekly, monthly collection reports for review by Collections Manager · Data Capture and verification · Bank Account verification · Assist with the management of collections queues · Assist the Collections Manager with day to day administration tasks · Assist with account queries · Assist Collections Manager with running debit orders · Review and verify client refunds prepared by finance · Assist in the collections process by calling clients in arrears and trying to make arrangements · Assist with any additional task required by the Collections Manager · Review and verify deceased list prepared by collection clerks · Processing bad debt written off · Filter and sort accounts for prescribed credit · Make sure client statements are sent and bureau file is uploaded · Compile list for sms on arrear client’s accounts · Ensure cancellation process is followed · Monthly Legal reports and assist with legal department tasks · Reconcile EDCs payments · Compile EDC’s handovers · Review and compile weekly legal fees incurredMinimum requirements: · Matric · 2 years’ experience in a collections environment · Strong oral and written communications · Ability to speak Zulu/Xhosa 2nd language (advantageous) · High attention to detail · Team Player · Computer Skills (Microsoft Office, etc.)If you are familiar with the above requirements please forward cv to firstname.lastname@example.org - with the reference COLL in the subject line. ...
