FORD Ranchero 1972 - 302 V8 Bakkie XY Farmont GT shape - Falcon 500 UTE - Classic / Muscle Car/Van
1972 Ford Ranchero Bakkie /
FALCON 500 UTE (Aus), Sort after factory V8 model with manual 3 speed. Assembled
by FORD SA in PE and the lucky ones to get the Mustang production V8 motors
from USA. Super-Fun and practical van sure turns heads and sounds amazing with its
branches and Cobra type sidewinder pipes. Period and tag correct colour paint. Has
a neat floor gear lever conversion, cab slider seems to be stock for SA V8
models. Original glass door inserts, but suspect bench seat has been recovered.
Doesn't have original rims or door mirrors, but still classifies mostly as a
true survivor car. (Original thick canvas bin cover is optional.) Motor and
gearbox all good as previous owner rebuilt motor. There are not many real factory V8 Rancheros left and very few that
have been kept on the road for almost 50 years with all its trim still and able
to see what they looked like back in the day plus its amazing original paint in
places. Papers are in order and lic up to date. Garaged mostly. Collector who
knows what a hard find this spec van truly is, sure will smile to acquire this one.
Asking R350 000 or $32k Open to offers or Swop for 4x4.
So below market value and something special that still turns heads away from supercars or exotics at car shows or the lights. If you’re after something different, then this is it.
are sure getting harder to find and even harder to part with. I have not been able to find a replacement yet locally, so lucky investor as no doubt they would never resell it back to me for this fair price. They pulling
scrap ones out the bush down under as stock is low and demand growing. Guess we
both love our bakkies. So if this seems out your price range, currently you
need 2-3x this ones asking price to bring a neat one back. So if you or someone
you know is after a real V8 model one let them now while its on the market. Message if qualified to buy and can arrange a call and viewing.
PS! Look at cash offers so if you can afford this make your best offer and see if this is one of my cars I might part with cheaper than its current worth.)
