Weber 38 DGAS Carburettor

These carbs were used on a wide range of Ford cars using the 3-litre V6 Essex motor throughout the 70s and 80s - Capris, Cortinas, Granadas, 20Ms and Cortina Bakkies. They were also a bolt-on power upgrade replacement for the Weber 32/36 carb used on 1600 Cortinas and Escorts.

This one is in used condition. It was taken off a 1600 Escort about 30 years ago and has been in storage since. It was working fine when removed, but is sold without any warranty. It is complete and functional, as it was when it was removed. Seals and diaphragms will have to be renewed using a kit.

This carburettor is still mounted on the inlet manifold for a 1300 or 1600 Ford Kent 'Crossflow' engine.
