Mercedes W202 C240 Elegance

Solid, reliable Mid Size Mercedes Benz. Not so old that it drives like a Donkey cart, but not so new that it has endless electronic problems!

People who know the W202 Mercs will agree with me that the facelift (1997 - 2000) W202 cars were much improved compared to the early cars.

This has the incredibly smooth and fuel efficient M112 2.6 V6 Engine and the much smoother shifting 722.6 Five Speed Transmission.

All the nice toys like Cold AC, Cruise Control, Leather seats, ASR, ABS, Alloy Wheels, 4 Electric windows, Remote Central locking etc makes it a nice comfortable place to be on long journeys.

I bought it from the First owner who owned it from new, so between the Two of us this car has been extremely well maintained. I am a Mercedes Master Technician by trade so I can assure you that this is a reliable unmolested car.

I would would not hesitate to jump in it right now and drive it 2000km! My previous classic 1984 Mercedes W123 230e had 525.000km on the clock when I sold it and the person who bought it from me in 2010 still drives it!

I've recently replaced quite a few parts on the car because I'm a firm believer in doing preventative maintenance. I always use only Genuine parts or parts sourced from reputable German suppliers.

I might however consider a small city car as a part trade in on my car, as I need a car for my Daughter who will soon start driving.
