Hallo parents, I am Veronica, a reliable, child loving and passionate Nanny from Zimbabwe who was extensively trained at Chilton College in Advanced Aupair and Night Nursing Course - including Pediatric First Aid and CPR. After graduating for Chilton College, I have been working at a day care Center in Strand for the past 3 years-which enrolls children from newly born to 6-year-olds. I love working with children and have amassed so much experience over the years at the center which have increased my knowledge in handling newly born to 6-year-olds. My duties at the day-care center included the following. Cleaning and sanitizing the place, Feeding children, Nappy changing, Pot training Handling all developmental milestones like. Creating games, coloring, reading/writing, learning shapes, sounds and storytelling. Writing numbers, letters and doing the alphabet Managing aftercare till all children were safely in the hands of their parents. I have been working in Strand occasionally during weekends or holidays for another family performing babysitting of their 9 months old baby when the couple went out. I handled all basic needs from feeding the baby, sterilizing bottles and putting baby to sleep - while making sure baby is safe till parents returned.
