We are seeking a caring, patient, and reliable nanny to support our family by providing primary care for our 2.5-year-old daughter, who is active, creative, and curious. We are based in Johannesburg, South Africa. Both parents have busy schedules, so we are looking for someone trustworthy who can maintain her daily routine and assist with basic, child-related household duties.

Key ResponsibilitiesChildcare (Primary Responsibility)

• Provide full-time care and close supervision of a 2.5-year-old toddler

• Engage the child in age-appropriate activities such as play, reading, and creative learning

• Prepare and assist with meals and snacks for the child

• Maintain the child’s daily routine, including meals, naps, and playtime

• Ensure the child’s safety and well-being at all times

• Encourage learning, good manners, and positive behaviour

• Assist with toilet training, if applicable

• Communicate daily updates to parents regarding activities, meals, and naps

Basic Housekeeping (Child-Related Only)

• Keep the child’s play and living areas neat and organised

• Clean up after meals and activities

• Wash the child’s dishes, bottles, and utensils

• Perform light laundry for the child (washing, hanging, folding)

• General tidying of areas used by the child

Requirements

• Based in or able to travel to Johannesburg, South Africa

• Previous experience caring for toddlers

• Traceable references (contactable and verifiable)

• Caring, patient, and energetic

• Trustworthy, reliable, and punctual
