Head Chef Wanted in the Winelands!

We're looking for an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our small kitchen team in the beautiful Winelands region. If you're a culinary expert with a love for dining and wine, we want to hear from you!

The Role:

- Oversee and actively participate in daily kitchen operations, menu planning, food preparation

- Lead a small team kitchen staff to deliver a consistently exceptional dining experience that fully integrates with the venue's broader offering and varied patron base (local and international visostors/ familiy groups/visiting schools/overnight guests)

- Develop and implement new menu ideas, specials, packages, deli style offer that are resilient to fluctuating sesons/low/high volume.

- Source local ingredients and collaborate with suppliers to showcase local artisinal food products that reflect our region

- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene

About You:

- 3+ years of experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef

- Proven track record of culinary excellence

- Strong leadership, communication and training skills

- Passion for wine and fine dining

- Relevant culinary qualifications

- Ability to work alone during slow days

- Strong planning skills
