CAPE TOWN – Loving Calico Girl (1 year old) Needs a Safe Forever Home ❤️

It breaks my heart to write this, but due to a move I cannot take my beautiful calico girl with me, and I need to find her the perfect new home.

• Name: Sassy
• Age: Just over 1 year old (born approx Oct 2024)
• Colour: Classic calico – white, orange, black, and so pretty!
• Sterilised: Yes (done in June 2025)
• Vaccinated & dewormed: Up to date
• Health: Perfect – can develop sinus congestion during spring (honey water helps
• Litter trained: 100 % clean, uses her box perfectly
• Diet: Eats Whiskas dry + a spoon of Catmor wet food – very low maintenance

Personality She is super independent and quiet, but every morning she loves a 10-minute play session with her feather wand or laser – that’s her happy time! After that she’s happy to chill on a windowsill or curl up near you (not on you – she’s not clingy). She would be an ideal companion for a calm household, older person, or someone who is home a lot (even someone with limited mobility – she’s gentle and won’t knock things over). She has never broken anything in my home during the time that she has lived with me.

She was born on the streets and her mom abandoned her on my doorstep when she was tiny, so she is a little scared of very loud noises (trucks, hooters) and sometimes wary of strangers on the street. Once she trusts you she is the sweetest, most loyal little soul.

Ideal home

• A safe, calm environment (house or secure complex – no busy roads)
• Someone kind and patient who will give her time to settle
• Preferably no very young children or big dogs (she’s never been exposed)
• Indoor or indoor + safe garden/cat-proof balcony

She comes with:

• Her favourite blanket & toys
• Remaining food
• Litter box
• You will need your own carry box and a little cat nip to keep her calm

NO REHOMING FEE – I only want the VERY BEST home for her. I will screen every single enquiry because she deserves nothing less.
