Description

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

  • Grade 12 with formal qualification advantageous
  • 5+ years experience in a clothing retail operations environment as an Area Manager
  • Valid drivers license and willing to travel
  • Computer literate on MS Office, good communication skills and able to handle pressure
  • Will oversee stores in the following areas : East London, KWT, Berlin, Mdantsane, Zwelitsha
The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:
  • Asset management ensure store is neat and fixtures/fittings are accounted for; co-ordinate janitorial and repair services
  • Stock control inventory & stock control; requisitions to replenish; identify/report slow sellers; stock loss plans
  • Merchandising coordinator displays; identify new way of promoting merchandise
  • Marketing / sales Manage implementation of marketing plans; achieve/exceed store sales targets; participate in promotions
  • Admin/cash ensure admin / procedures are met; manage controllable expenses
  • Staff management assign employees; assist/train staff; manage performance; recruit temp staff
  • Security manage security and ensure staff are performing as required
  • Customer service train customer service staff; assist customers; attract clientele

Salary: Basic, Pool vehicle, company cell phone, company laptop
