The Tata Super Ace is fitted with a four-cylinder, turbocharged 1.4-litre diesel engine that produces 52kW at 4 500rpm with a maximum torque figure of 135Nm available at 2 500rpm. This engine is mated to a five-speed manual transmission. Fuel consumption for the Super Ace is rated at 7.2-litres/100km and can reach a top speed of 125km/h.
