General Details
Description
I have this project vehicle for sale. I'm downsizing on my car collections and projects.
1. Model - 1989 BMW 318i. Fully licensed and paperwork in order.
2. Vehicle was purchased because of its straight body with the intention to put in a performance drive train.
3. The vehicle was completely stripped and repainted. 325is Kit was installed.
4. Seats were sent for reupolstering. Unfortunately the upholsterer passed on. Fortunately he cut and sewed the material. Just needs to be finished.
5. Bought a 535i M30B35 engine with a dogleg gearbox. This engine was previously reconditioned and was running on a M3 E46.
This engine has a capacity of 3,430 cc (209.3 cu in), despite the "B35" model code. It produces 155 kW (211 PS; 208 hp) at 5700 rpm and 305 N⋅m (225 lb⋅ft) at 4000 rpm, has a compression ratio of 9.0:1 and uses Bosch Motronic 1.3 digital fuel injection.
6. Engine and Gearbox needs to be installed.
7. There is no ECU. Wiring needs to be done.
8. Price - R95k slightly negotiable.
