It’s unfortunate that the engine picked up a tapping noise while on a road trip and will need seeing too. This appears to be standard issue for the 997.1 once they reach a certain mileage. The car starts fine and doesn’t smoke.
Iv had an incredible ownership and driving experience and would like to try something else. That’s why it’s priced as a serious opportunity for someone who knows the value in this spec.
Manual + Sport Chrono 997 Cabriolets are increasingly hard to find.
Once the engine is sorted, you own a Porsche worth significantly more.
