2004 E46 320D....Priced TO GO!

Status: Fully Licensed / On the Road PAY IN CRYPTO ASWELL! They don't make them like this anymore. This isn’t just another high-mileage BMW; this is an enthusiast-owned, high-spec 320d that has been in my ownership for 7 years. The 2004 6-speed manual is a sweet spot of diesel efficiency and driver engagement. I’ve prepped this car for its next 100k km just recenly, but my work requirements have changed and i require something that can handle heavy loads....so the Beemer has been sitting for far too long. * Refurbished Turbo from Turbo Repair Masters (CT) at 315k km. All paperwork for that is also noted in service book. * 4 brand new tyres with less than 800km on them. front and rear pics above * New Battery: Brand new, less than 200km on it. This is the big cahuna that the car needs to not cause any auxiliary electrical gremlins....people cheap out and put a small battery in, this baby always rocked the big boy! Thats R4500 right there alone. * Full Service History: during my ownership only original BMW parts was always used. High-End Executive Spec It is loaded with rare factory options: * Xenon Headlights with factory fitted headlight washers (rare on the 320d). * Executive Audio Package & PDC * Auto Lights & Wipers + Tyre Pressure Monitoring AND warning system. * 6-Speed Gearbox: Buttery smooth shifts and incredible fuel economy. * Efficiency: Easily hits 1,200km per tank (mixed) and up to 1,500km on open road ******** Also take note that this vehicle was never ever used as a towing vehicle....its such a pleasure to drive that its just more fun driving two trips :-)) ******** The Honest Details : The car is currently not running due to the starter motor that went kaput on me and thus the reason i decided to put her up for sale as i had just spent R20k on her in the past 18 months and barely did any driving in her. Now because it has been standing, TO ENSURE CAREFREE, HASSLEFREE FUTURE OWNERSHIP... FLUSH THE FUEL TANK AND ALL THE FUEL LINES, DO THE INJECTOR TIPS (its like R1750), remove diesel pump and just clean it and check its pressure capacity...CLEAN THE EGR VALVE...,this simple easy self DIY job on EGR valve is like a miracle cure...because a EGR valve that is gummed up causes the turbo to come onto boost later and feel more sluggish....a 20 minute EGR clean can honestly make you forget how damn hard your car should pull when the valve is regularly cleaned Other things that need attention : * Interior: Common E46 roof lining sag and the top fan in center console needs a R1,200 replacement (currently bypassed via fuse to save the battery)....also the reason why you are getting a brand spanking new battery....lol * Exterior: Minor stone chips and the paint is fading on the boot. A R1000 respray from a guy thats good will go a very long way... The windscreen has a heat-crack (stopped) but will need replacing eventually and some idiot stole the cover from the left mirror. Easily sourced part. No oil leaks. Sump compression is good, pulleys(see photos) still in good condition...even the aircon still blows ice cold.... And to put your mind at ease because you cant start her, you can take a socket to the flywheel and turn the engine and feel how easy and smooth it turns.. so no damage to flywheel when starter went kaput which is just a testament to the build quality.... And one final Ace up the sleeve of these motors.....your timing CHAIN will keep you running long after a VW TDI engine has had 10 timing belt changes She deserves a life of being enjoyed and running daily again. **Sale is "As-Is."
