Manufactured from GRP (fibreglass) material with a self-extinguishing structural foam core, OBIQUA SLIDE-ON/OFF CAMPERS offer an effortless and lightweight solution to camping.

Produced to fit all popular bakkies in South Africa. The OBIQUA CAMPER fits: double cabs, X-tra cabs and single cabs. Utilizing the standard factory tie-down points to secure the camper to your vehicle, NO structural modifications are required.

The OBIQUA CAMPER boasts a unique and convenient feature of attachable “legs” permitting the camper to stand independently from your vehicle. Accordingly, allowing you to pursue game drives, sightseeing and 4x4ing without packing up and leaving your favourite campsite.

With all campers in mind, we have designed an OBIQUA CAMPER specifically for campers owning other towing vehicles. Modified to fit onto a trailer and act as an off-road caravan, there is no need to ever change your overlanding/camping rig if you have an OBIQUA CAMPER.

Valuable information:

- When fitted on a bakkie the OBIQUA CAMPER fits into a standard single garage

- The camper does NOT extend over the roof of the vehicle, allowing for a roof rack

- Low profile for lower fuel consumption

- Low centre of gravity for extreme conditions

- Most heavy items are placed ahead of the rear axle on most double cabs

- No suspension modifications necessary

A loaded camperwith fuel, water and provisions weighs around 500kg. This is LESS than the "tare" (empty weight) of many other units so beware when making comparisons. As stated no expensive suspension upgrades are required – which although assumed would not assist in making your overweight rig legal when pulled onto a weighbridge.
