Car Hand Control

This was fitted to a 90s corolla and audi. It allows the driver to use hands instead of feet to accelerate and brake. It works using ones right hand on the lever and the left hand on the steering wheel. Therefore the car must have POWER STEERING and be an AUTOMATIC. My dad was an amputee and this worked well for him. He was in a wheelchair but could drive everywhere due to the handcontrols. This gave him independence. So if one has lost function of the right foot or both feet, then this will work. This unit needs to be drilled into the brake pedal as you can see from the pics, 2 bolts into the pedal. The accelerator section can mount onto the metal part above the pedal. The unit needs to be mounted under the steering column to work. It really wont work on newer cars as it has to attach to the steering column to fit. Newer cars tend to have a big panel under the steering column. If you are interested in it then reply with the make, model and year of your car. I will not sell it to someone whose car it wont work with. This has been standing for many years so needs a clean with a wire brush or little sand paper Collect in Lansdowne or Epping.
