One obstacle is finding a location for a manifold boost & vacuum source. This is essential if you plan to install a boost gauge, diverter valve, water/meth kit, etc. Traditional boost taps used on the earlier TSI engines are not compatible due to the redesigned intake manifold found on the 3rd generation motor. Designed with simplicity of install in mind this a simple yet effective boost tap that installs on the intake manifold. Simply unscrew the pressure sensor located on the top of the intake manifold and install the between the sensor and the manifold. The installation can be completed in minutes and is completely reversible.
