A dovetail sliding plate with 2-stage lock-in system on the ball head is another great feature. A simple press of the button releases the plate, both safely and quickly.

The integrated ball head also glides smoothly around 360 degrees and can also lock into a portrait format.

The Triad 40 has a quick release ball heat with +/- 90 degrees orientation groove and the centra column can be easily reversed for macro photography
