The business has been operational nationwide and based in Hermanus, Western Cape, since 2013.

We move residential homes, apartments, shops, medical practices, restaurants, offices, contents of storage facilities and more.

The CC is registered and has no debt and the business is VAT registered.

Over the years we have moved clients to and out of the Western Cape from all corners of South Africa.

We respectfully suggest that the buyer keeps operating in the Hermanus / Overberg region. The business is well known in the area and the legwork from a marketing perspective has already been done. We also service many repeat clients and a large segment of business is received via word of mouth referrals. The business model that we have molded works well but can be adapted and tweaked.

With the “semigration” to the Western Cape from other provinces business levels have increased. For example, a household moves from Pretoria to The Overberg Region using one of the larger carriers. They store their furniture while building a new home and when they are ready to take occupancy, they call a local moving Company like us to complete the local move. This is a trend which has been on the increase since people realized they can work remotely.

Up until recently, we were a total of 6 service providers in the area. Sadly, 2 of the owners passed away and the 3rd returned to Gauteng. This has also resulted in a significant increase in business levels. At the time of placing this add, we have work lined up to the tune of R140,000 in turnover. Deposits paid and some moves already paid in full. Annual turnover for the 2023/24 financial year was in the region of R1,050,000.

Growth options will also be discussed with the buyer.

An agreement will be reached with the new owner on a reasonable timeframe to hand over the reins after the sale has been completed.

Our staff are well trained and very reliable. Some of our members of staff have been with us since the early days.

The onus is on the buyer to source finance in full. We are also not open to a monthly installment plan. The asking price of R1,265,000 is inclusive of VAT.

Reasons for selling is that our kids have left home, our parents have all passed away and we want to scale down into semi-retirement.
