The Unique 575 has it all! She’s a catamaran hull which looks and handles like a semi-rigid — a boat that looks good and is easy to use for a multitude of purposes, including offshore fun , diving or fishing, and at the dam for skiing, fishing or cruising. This versatile rig comes with lots of in-built features and an inventory that includes T-top type canopy, 2x fuel tanks, instruments, VHF radio, 2x fishfinders, ski pole, rod holders, 2x capsize canisters, bow-roller and bollard, anchor locker, self-draining deck, 5x lifejackets and a galvanised breakneck trailer with spare wheel. The 2x 60HP Mercury Big-Foot (fitted with larger gearbox for extra thrust) outboard motors will drive the boat comfortably with power to spare and, as a 2006 Ski Boat Magazine boat test found, “with minor tweaking on the trims she tackled the rougher conditions with complete ease, side-on, into and with the wind. The 575 also threw very little spray, with most of it being deflected straight back onto the water. This gave an amazingly soft, comfortable ride”.
