It's easy to lift it onto the tow ball and then push down the single lever to lock it into place. Tilting is an easy one person operation using a foot pedal positioned at the front of the carrier. The VeloCompact should fit all tow balls. To fit this carrier you need a clear 65mm between the centre of the tow ball and the bumper. Easy mounting and adjustment of the bike rack before closing the tightening handle, thanks to the towbar coupling’s initial stability. Possible to increase the load capacity to 4 bikes by adding a fourth bike adapter. Easy mounting of bikes through detachable bike arms with lockable knobs. Carries bikes with large wheelbases, thanks to single action extendable wheel holders.
