Our national client, a leading player in the truck body repair industry in South Africa, specializing in providing high-quality repairs and customization services requires your skills, qualifications and experience as a Spray Painter for their Cape Town operation to contribute to the excellence of their truck body repair services.

**Position Overview:**

We are looking for a talented Spray Painter with experience in the Truck Body Repair industry to contribute to our team's success. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of paint application techniques, color matching, and surface preparation to ensure top-notch finishing for our clients' commercial vehicles.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Surface Preparation:** Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as required to achieve a smooth and even finish.

2. **Color Matching:** Mix and match paint to ensure accurate color representation, adhering to client specifications and industry standards.

3. **Spray Painting:** Utilize various painting equipment, including spray guns, to apply paint evenly and efficiently on truck bodies and components.

4. **Quality Control:** Inspect finished products to ensure high-quality standards, making necessary touch-ups and corrections as needed.

5. **Safety Compliance:** Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to create a secure working environment, including the proper handling and disposal of paint and related materials.

6. **Equipment Maintenance:** Perform regular maintenance on painting equipment to ensure optimal functionality and longevity.

**Requirements:**

1. **Experience:** Proven experience as a Spray Painter in the Truck Body Repair industry.

2. **Skills:** Proficient in paint application techniques, color matching, and surface preparation. Knowledge of various paint types and their applications.

3. **Attention to Detail:** Meticulous attention to detail to achieve high-quality finishes and meet client specifications.

4. **Safety Awareness:** Strong commitment to safety protocols and guidelines.

5. **Team Player:** Ability to collaborate with a diverse team to achieve common goals.

6. **Adaptability:** Willingness to adapt to evolving industry trends and techniques.

**Qualifications:**

- Relevant certification in Spray Painting or a related field.

Please note that these are urgent positions and need to be filled soonest. Kindly note that there is a possibility that you may be afforded a role directly with the client in future but initially you will be employed by us as the agency and assigned to the client for the duration of your assignment.

Normal time hours per is 45 hours but the client works alot of overtime and most Saturdays due to the increase in business.

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: R35,00 - R48,50 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week

• Blackheath, Western Cape: Relocate before starting work (Required)
