Magnificent Antique Teak Double Door Wardrobe

This beautiful Teak Double Door wardrobe has a cornice top above the two full length, moulded doors, it rests on a plinth base raised on bun feet. All fittings are original.

The left-hand door opens to reveal a mirror frame on the inside (no mirror available).

It has two sections, on the left side are three original brass drop hooks above a pull-out trouser rail. On the other, are two shelves, and three slider drawers above a drawer with handle. Shelf/shelves can be removed if a larger space is required to fit your purpose.

The doors have the original pull-handles (key not available). In good structural condition it has a flat finish, there are some minor marks and signs of wear consistent with usage and as should be expected for its age. There is a small hole in the plywood at the back. A leave behind of the original owners, is the surname King which is hand-written on the back of the wardrobe, who made their way to SA from Great Britain in the early 1920s.

The wardrobe separates from the plinth base and top cornice, for ease of transport.
