Integra Research RDC-7 THX Ultra AV Preamp/Processor (UPG-2)

Why this one’s worth it
A classic Integra Research flagship that still delivers: analogue-first design with 8-channel balanced XLR outs. With UPG-2, it’s a serious preamp/DAC for 2.1 or 7.1 if you don’t need HDMI.

• Sound: dual-differential Burr-Brown PCM1704 on L/R (24/96); AD1853 on other channels (24/192).

• UPG-2: THX Ultra2, DTS 96/24, variable sub XO 40/60/80/100/120 Hz.

• I/O: Per-input assignable Analog / Optical / Coax with auto-sense.
  Outputs: 8× balanced XLR + RCAs; optical & coax S/PDIF outs.

• Extras: Phono input; trigger outputs.

Bass management
THX-grade as above. Note: in 2-ch Direct the sub is off; in Stereo (2.1) the sub is on.

Included
RDC-7 processor, original remote (intermittent), Logitech remote (aging; some unused keys don’t work), power cable.

What it’s not
No HDMI (use S/PDIF optical or coaxial). No built-in room correction/PEQ.
