Executive Manager: Supply Chain

Description/Synopsis:
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Executive Manager: Supply Chain will design and lead an end-to-end supply chain strategy that enhances visibility, efficiency, and cost-to-serve performance from production to customer delivery.

You’ll take responsibility for a national logistics, warehousing, and procurement network, driving collaboration across Operations, Commercial, and Finance. Your mandate will be to strengthen customer reliability, reduce costs, and drive excellence across the Group’s mills, depots, and distribution sites.

The ideal candidate is an experienced supply chain leader with strong commercial acumen, a systems-driven mindset, and a proven ability to deliver measurable operational improvements within a large-scale, multi-site environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Commerce, or Forestry
• MBA/MBL or equivalent postgraduate qualification advantageous
• 10–15 years’ experience in senior or executive supply chain leadership roles
• Experience in the Agriculture, manufacturing or production industries
• Proven experience in ERP systems and logistics transformation – ideally SAP or MS Dynamics
• Strong financial and commercial management background
• Demonstrated success leading diverse, geographically dispersed teams
• In-depth understanding of warehousing, logistics, procurement, inventory, and customer fulfilment
• Excellent stakeholder management and change leadership skills

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement the Group’s end-to-end supply chain strategy
• Integrate production-to-customer processes to optimise visibility and efficiency
• Lead national logistics, warehousing, inventory, and procurement functions
• Drive cost efficiency, ESG alignment, and process modernisation
• Implement and enhance digital and ERP systems for real-time data insights
• Partner with the CEO and executive team on strategic planning and performance initiatives
• Develop a high-performing, customer-focused supply chain culture
