My client based in the Northern Suburbs, focusing in the Academic industry is seeking to employ an experienced Senior Marketing Coordinator to help in the companyâ??s overall marketing and branding efforts. You will be responsible for the development and execution of marketing plans to reach targets from brand awareness to product promotion.

Conduct market research to find answers about consumer requirements, habits and trends

Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns

Assist in outbound or inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas (content development and optimization, advertising, events planning etc.)

Liaise with external vendors to execute promotional events and campaigns

Collaborate with vendors and other professionals to coordinate brand awareness and marketing efforts

Plan and execute initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate channels (social media, e-mail, Newsletters etc.)

Assist in analysing marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies

Undertake individual tasks of a marketing plan

Brand management

Carry out market research in order to keep up to date with customer trends.

Develop strategies and manage marketing campaigns across print, broadcast and online platforms in order to ensure that the products and services meet customers’ expectations and to build the credibility of the brands.

Analyse the success of our marketing campaigns, create reports and, if necessary, re-strategize accordingly.

Make sure that all the advertising, product design and other forms of marketing adheres to the corporate identity.

Meet with clients and work with colleagues across multiple departments.

Manage budgets with an eye towards maximizing gains and reducing costs.

Make sure that the company, its’s products and services are consistently branded across all platforms i.e. websites, social media, communication channels etc.

Marketing management

Oversee and develop marketing campaigns for the company, its products and services.

Conduct research and analyse data to identify and define audiences and markets.

Devise and present ideas and strategies to management.

Oversee and develop promotional activities for the company, its products and services.

Write and proofread creative copy for Newsletters, pamphlets, websites etc.

Manage and monitor campaigns on social media.

Present, execute and manage creative ideas for marketing activities, products and services such as:


Marketing collateral e.g. roller banners, brochures, business cards etc.

Websites, Digital and online marketing

Analyse data and come up with appropriate courses of action

Produce written and multimedia content

Manage pay-per-click (PPC) and programmatic advertising
