JOB OVERVIEW
Internal Sales and Project Estimator
Managing Quotes, Suppliers, and Delivery
This role is centred on being the operational hub for all external production and product branding. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain, from sourcing suppliers and compiling accurate quotes to managing the production timeline and ensuring the final product is delivered on time, on specification, and to the highest quality. We are looking for someone organised and detail-oriented who can expertly manage multiple supplier relationships and project timelines simultaneously.

KEY FOCUS AREAS & RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Cost Estimating & Supplier Procurement
Your primary goal is to ensure cost-effective and high-quality production through excellent supplier management.
  • Supplier Sourcing: Actively find, evaluate, and manage a diverse portfolio of external suppliers (for production/branding) to ensure cost-effective, timely delivery.
  • Quote Compilation: Conduct detailed project scoping and compile accurate quotes for clients based on supplier pricing and production needs.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and supplier margins to ensure competitive rates and the best value.
  • Order Management: Issue accurate supplier purchase orders (POs) and proactively follow up on quotes and orders to maintain the production schedule.
  • Innovation: Identify and source innovative product offerings, keeping abreast of new market trends from suppliers.
  • Financial Vetting: Check and approve supplier invoices and follow up on payments.

  1. Production & Project Coordination
  • You will manage the production pipeline for client deliverables, focusing on the external process.
  • Workflow Management: Manage the end-to-end project workflow, coordinating external production across multiple suppliers and brands.
  • Timeline Management: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, prioritize tasks, and manage workloads to meet all client deadlines.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify potential risks and bottlenecks early within the supply chain and take proactive action to ensure project continuity and timely delivery.
  • Artwork Checks: Measure physical stock items received from suppliers for accurate artwork scaling, and check/approve supplier artwork proofs.
  • Coordination: Liaise daily with internal departments (Design, Logistics) and suppliers to manage expectations and ensure effective communication.
