Overview

Safety Does It is looking for a school leaver to join the company as a marketing and admin intern with the view to coming on full time after a 3-month period. We are based in Apex, Benoni and we provide Occupational Health and Safety Services to clients.


Must have:

Own vehicle

Valid Driver’s Licence

It would be beneficial for the delegate to live within the vicinity of our premises.


What you will be doing:

Social media community management across all popular platforms

Coordinating & distributing content

Keeping our website up to date

Monitoring and reporting on website and social media traffic

Arranging events

Assistant to Director of Sales & Operations and Managing Director


Skills:

Excellent knowledge of social media platforms and websites

Creative mindset

Ability to multitask

Ability to work well within a team


Key competencies, requirements & responsibilities:

Online marketing and advertising

Events management - Organise events, conferences, team building sessions etc.

Strong creative writing skills (Social media channels and website)

Excellent English & Afrikaans written/verbal communications skills

Media relations experience & knowledge of key social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc.)

Produce newsletters (in house and for clients)

Ensure alignment and grammar checks are done on all company documents as well as on website

Production of monthly reports

Confident personality with good presentation skills

Acknowledge client deadlines

Willingness to travel in own vehicle
