JUNIOR LEGAL AND COMPLIANCE SECRETARY (WATER DEPARTMENT)

Your duties will Include but are not limited to the following:

• Your duties will include assisting and executing high level secretarial and administrative tasks in the Water Department;

• Ensuring FICA compliance of client documents;

• Compiling and drafting of Section 27’s

• Typing of dictations;

• Saving and storing communications, client documents, file contents; Also saving all documents in DROPBOX;

• Ensuring Safe keeping of aforementioned documents and records;

• Working on the portal as per instructions;

• Making certain telephone calls to follow up with clients/respective departments and parties to the matter, on instructions;

• Compiling reports/letters to clients in WORD, EXCEL and ensuring efficient use of word for purposes of editing, data collection, alignment, tab functions (not limited to the above- word proficiency is a requirement)

• Compiling power point presentation on instructions and out of own initiative;

• Securing appointment dates through use of outlook calendar and following instructions;

• Ensuring consultation rooms are books and times scheduled, management of credits

• Management of printing and printing credits; following up on lost credits etc.

• Personal Assistant Type errands: includes driving to ensure directors can continue to see clients and perform functions

• Basic Accounting: invoices, follow ups and keeping record of statements, payments to be made and entering receipts into receipt bank

• To assist the management with marketing, and any marketing administrative processes;

• You may be required to travel on request, company to cover travel expenses

• Minimum requirement: 3 year degree qualification


Our offer includes the following:

1. Remuneration (salary) with annual review (which will be discussed)

2. Payment of fuel expenditure per km at SARS rate of R3.61 per km;

3. Review of possible benefits after six (6) months;

4. Please note that the three (3) month probation period will apply;
