Key Responsibilities:
Requirements:
- General Finance Duties:
- Manage the full processing of day-to-day transactions and payments for smaller entities
- Prepare journals and complete monthly reconciliations
- Update trial balance accounts in line with IFRS
- Identify financial risks and ensure internal compliance
- Contribute to performance management and continuous improvement initiatives
- Reporting:
- Compile monthly, quarterly, forecast, and year-end reporting packs on SAP
- Manage inter-company confirmations
- Prepare annual financial statements
- Support reporting requirements across multiple companies
- Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Review cost allocations
- Prepare budgets and forecasts for smaller entities
- Manage cash flow reporting to treasury
- Projects:
- Administer and maintain project financials, including budget control
- Assist project managers with financial oversight
- Provide input for reporting, tax disclosures, and forecasting
- Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and relevant ISO standards across SHE, environmental, quality, and energy frameworks
Requirements:
- BCom Accounting or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 3 years experience in a financial/accounting environment
- Strong computer literacy (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP S/4Hana advantageous)
- Independent, self-driven work approach
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Deadline-driven with strong planning and administrative skills
- Innovative, strategic thinker
