REQUIREMENTS:
- Matric
- 3+ years of events supervision experience or experience in a similar industry, such as stretch tent rentals and set-ups, event equipment rental, delegation management, operations management, logistics control, sales, technical/handyman work, and warehouse management
- Experience setting up events at different locations (travel required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Effective time management skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, independent worker who is a strong team leader
- Own a car and hold a valid drivers license
- Reside in the Helderberg area
DUTIES:
- Supervise daily operations of the tent division, managing a team and ensuring adherence to sales and production schedules.
- Conduct regular quality inspections and audits, maintaining strict compliance with industry standards.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to address equipment quality issues and reduce product malfunctions.
- Oversee daily operations of the tent division, including scheduling, logistics, and staff management.
- Coordinate with clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions for various events.
- Manage a team of employees, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement operational procedures to ensure efficient and cost-effective execution of events.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure the availability of required equipment and materials.
- Lead the setup and breakdown of tent structures, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and client specifications
- Analyze performance metrics and generate reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Foster strong relationships with clients.

The role will include preparation and review of accounts for Trusts, as
well as individuals and businesses whose pensions are being administered, along
with developing processes and procedures, implementing improvements, tax
compliance and meeting accounting deadlines for individual and corporate
pension schemes. The post holder will also be responsible for providing
technical support to the Finance team.
Key Duties
and Responsibilities
·
Provide exemplary levels of professional
accountancy skills to ensure the timely provision of high-quality accounting
and reporting which support both external clients and internal office personnel.
·
Assist the accounting function for a range of
products including private client pension schemes, RATS, EBTs, Trusts and
corporate pension schemes.
·
Provide technical support for the Finance Team
to help build greater expertise in accounts preparation and tax returns.
·
Remain abreast of changes in tax and financial
reporting legislation and statutory requirements.
·
Prepare and review statutory financial accounts
and statements to the highest standard, in line with established best practice
and which conform to all legal and professional requirements and guidelines.
·
Guide, support and train a team of Finance
Officers in the preparation of accounts.
·
Encourage and drive the personal development of
yourself and the team.
·
Build excellent working relationships with
clients and business partners.
·
Complete any other duties as and when required
to drive business success.
·
Adopt and reflect company values.
Competencies
The post
holder should have;
·
A professional accounting qualification such as
ACCA, CIMA or ACA (or equivalent).
·
Working knowledge of FRS 102.
·
Experience of Trust Accounting
·
Logical approach to assessing productivity and
implementing solutions.
·
Experience of or an understanding of, HMRC tax
reporting and annual filing would be
·
beneficial.
·
Excellent organisational skills; prioritising,
achieving deadlines and driving business efficiency.
·
Strong interpersonal skills; with a drive to
support a successful team.
