Accountant – Small Accounting Firm (Somerset West)

We are a small, established accounting practice based in Somerset West and are looking for a competent, hands-on accountant to join our team.

Salary: R15,000 – R20,000 per month (depending on experience)
Location: Somerset West (office-based)
Start date: As soon as possible

• Full bookkeeping up to Trial Balance

• VAT, PAYE, Provisional Tax & Income Tax returns

• Payroll processing (SimplePay experience advantageous)

• Monthly management accounts

• SARS eFiling submissions and queries

• Client communication on routine matters

• Solid accounting knowledge (minimum: TB level)

• Practical experience with VAT and payroll

• Able to work independently in a small-firm environment

• Xero experience preferred

• Afrikaans & English required

• Stable, long-term position

• Exposure to a variety of clients

• Small team, no corporate politics
