Our client in the fast-paced professional services environment is looking to employ a Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant. The option of a half day position can be discussed.

Main responsibilities involve supporting the financial management function through performing the full accounting/bookkeeping function to trial balance.


• Accounting Degree or Diploma
• At least 3 years of Accounting/bookkeeping experience
• Legal Trust experience (advantageous, but not a prerequisite)


• Proficient in MS Office (advanced Excel)
• Pastel and WinLaw knowledge (advantageous)
• Drivers License with own transport


• Processing of bank statements and accounting journals and supplier invoices
• Daily processing of trust bank accounts
• Preparing monthly reconciliations of all investment accounts
• Daily online banking – trust and business payments
• Management of company debtors and creditors
• Bi-monthly VAT preparation and submission of returns
• Preparation of monthly management accounts
