Solsa is looking for a qualified sample machinist to join their dynamic team. The Sample Machinist follows all processes ensuring that Solsa's apparel quality expectations are met for all products manufactured. Our ideal candidate should have excellent judgement, experience with apparel, fabrics, specs, measurements and thrive in a fast paced environment.
Requirements:
• Multi skilled operator.
• Experience in manufacture of all fabrics.
• Ability to stitch combined fabric bases.
• Ability to set their own machinery including but not limited to: Tension, presser foot and feed in order cope with various fabrics. Setting up of all folders and binders.
• Ladies wear, Kids wear and Menswear experience.
• Ability to communicate problems experienced stitching of the samples and give input as to how these can be overcome.
Must be able to work on a Saturday.
