Head Office of a national retailer in Mobeni requires a Finance Clerk to assist their Financial Manager and Finance Administrator with Financial related functions.
Performing daily/monthly bank recons
Capturing of General Ledger journals
Allocation of creditors payments
Maintaining and updating of fixed assets register
Credit card and bank charges verification
Collating and batching of documents
Perform complete creditors function: capturing invoices, reconciliations, payments and queries
Manage and control of petty cash
General administration and filing
Any other specific requests by management
You will need to have the following essential qualifications and experience:
Minimum 3 years bookkeeping/creditors/finance experience
Knowledge of Accounting software packages
Strong MS Office skills
Ability to work under pressure and according to tight deadlines
Have excellent documentation and communication skills
Attention to Detail and high level of accuracy
Working Hours: Monday – Friday 8.00 am -5.00 pm
Alternate Saturdays 8.00 am – 1.00 pm
Alternate Public Holidays 9.00 am – 1.00 pm
This is a retail environment and you need to have hands on experience, particularly in Creditors, reconciliations and Account Administration.
The position is available immediately, and is quite urgent. Although it is a newly created position, it offers the usual incentives for staff.
