Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and analyse monthly financial statements for multiple entities
- Manage balance sheet reconciliations, journals, and month-end close within Shared Services
- Oversee centralised billing, costing, revenue recognition & WIP
- Ensure accurate VAT, tax submissions, and statutory compliance across business units
- Support budgeting, forecasting & variance reporting
- Drive process improvements, strengthen internal controls & support audits (internal/external)
Skills & Requirements:
- BCom Accounting / Finance (Honours advantageous)
- 35 years experience as a Financial Accountant (logistics shared services / freight / supply chain preferred)
- Strong understanding of shared services operations, financial cycles & high-volume environments
- Experience with logistics/industry systems (CargoWise advantageous)
- Strong technical accounting, analytical and reporting skills
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management & process-driven mindset
