Group Financial Accountant

Step into a high-impact Group Financial Accountant position where you will be responsible for the integrity and consolidation of the group's financial results. You will be the go-to expert for technical accounting, group reporting, and complianceproviding a clear and accurate picture of the group's performance to senior leadership and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of the group's monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation process.
• Prepare and review group financial statements in compliance with IFRS, ensuring technical accuracy.
• Oversee and review financial reporting from subsidiary brands, ensuring adherence to group accounting policies.
• Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors during the annual audit process.
• Lead the implementation of new accounting standards and ensure group-wide compliance.
• Continuously improve group reporting processes and enhance the effectiveness of financial controls.
• Provide technical accounting guidance and support to finance teams across the groups brands.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• CIMA / ACCA or equivalent.
• BCom Accounting with 35 years of post-qualification experience, including significant exposure to group consolidations.
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS and experience in preparing complex group financial statements.
• Proficient in a major ERP system; experience with group consolidation modules is highly advantageous.
