Financial Accountant

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts, journals, reconciliations, and reporting packs
- Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with audit and statutory requirements
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
- Perform cost analysis and support operational teams with financial insights
- Drive process improvements and assist with system optimisation

Job Experience and Skills Required:
Education:
- BCom Accounting / BCom Finance (essential)
Experience:
5- 7 years experience as a Financial Accountant in a manufacturing environment
- Strong exposure to costing, stock, and plant operations (advantageous)
- Experience with ERP systems and management reporting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, plant-driven environment
Skills:
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Non-Negotiables:
- BCom degree
- Experience in manufacturing or similar operational environment
