Responsibilities:Ability to control resources at a level commensurate with profit requirements and enhanced customer relationsAbility to maximize departmental profitability through the sale of labour and associated products to franchise and non-franchise customersPeople Management: - Supervision of staff, management of performance, discipline and other staff management related functionsAbility to ensure Service/Workshop Department achieves budget objectives through weekly and monthly monitoring and control of accounts, operating controls and composite figuresAbility to ensure efficient operation of the Service/Workshop Department through labour utilization, productivity and salesAbility to ensure excellence in customer serviceAbility to maintain effective control of expenses through monthly examination of management accounts to ensure expenditure is in line with budgeted labour salesService, maintain, diagnose, problem solve and attend breakdowns on commercial vehiclesEnsure necessary paperwork is completed timeouslyRequirements:MatricQualified Diesel technicianAt least 3 years management experience in a dealership commercial vehicle environment, as Service or Workshop ManagerExceptionally good technical knowledge of commercial vehicles and management experienceFully computer literate Please note only candidates with the required experience will be contacted and considered.
