Overview: Our client in the manufacturing sector is looking to employ a Creditors clerk. Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 / Matric Certificate / qualification in finance (Advantageous)Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar roleExperience working with SageResponsibilities: Ensure timeous processing of transactions on the ledger and paying attention to details of the invoicesProcess credit notes against invoicesObtain statements from suppliers and reconcile creditors per month on the 15th of the following monthEnsure new suppliers are accurately loaded on Sage with the correct, adequate and valid documentation attachedEnsure the new suppliers are loaded as beneficiaries in the bank with correct paperwork uploaded on the serverReconcile ewallets, staff loans, debit cards and hotel accommodations weeklyReconcile fuel weekly for all the SPP sitesMonitor fuel to ensure the funds have not depleted and prepare bulk top up payment packsUpdate payments register regularlyLoad COD payments in the bank on payment daysLoad creditors in the bank to be released end of the monthExtract proof of payments from the bank and prepare remittances to send with pops to suppliers after payments are releasedProcess discount adjustmentsProcess payments made to suppliers from the bank on SageCompetencies / Skills: ResilienceEthical behaviourLeading by exampleExcellence orientatedCustomer responsivenessProblem-solving, analysis and judgementMotivating, influencing and developing people
