Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the full financial accounting function with accuracy and ownership
• Lead and mentor the finance team with clarity and structure
• Manage budgeting, reporting, audits, and donor-funded financial requirements
• Ensure compliance with NPO governance and financial regulations
• Prepare high-quality management accounts and financial statements
• Analyse variances, monitor spend, and strengthen financial controls
• Partner with leadership to support strategic and operational decisions

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• BCom & completed SAICA articles essential
• 7+ years post-articles experience
• Leadership / management experience required
• Strong exposure to the NPO sector (funding models, compliance, and reporting)
• Advanced Excel and ERP proficiency
• Strong technical skills, ethical judgement, and the ability to operate with transparency
• A calm, structured communicator who thrives in purpose-driven environments
