Our client, a well-established organisation in the financial services sector, is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant (Operational Focus) to assist their finance team during a transitional phase. You will form part of a high-performing finance department and gain exposure to large-scale reconciliations and system integrations. Key Responsibilities:

• Reconcile operational systems to financial accounting systems.
• Prepare and post journals, ensuring correct debits and credits.
• Identify, analyse, and communicate variances across departments.
• Support the finance team with data analysis and operational reporting.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• BCom Degree (CIMA qualification advantageous).
• Previous experience in reconciliations, journal processing, and working with large data sets. Exposure to the insurance industry beneficial.
• Advanced Excel and SQL proficiency (experience with Great Plains advantageous).
• High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and strong communication skills.
