Financial Manager

Job & Company Description:
A well-established and continuously growing company in the industrial/production sector is seeking a highly competent Financial Manager to join their finance leadership team based in the JHB CBD.

This permanent opportunity is ideal for a technically strong professional who is comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. You will assume full responsibility for financial management, reporting accuracy, and operational finance support, playing a key role in driving organisational performance and long-term financial sustainability. Exposure to industrial, manufacturing, or production environments will be highly beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management
• Manage and develop the finance team while driving continuous process improvements
• Oversee month-end and year-end processes, including preparation of management accounts and annual financial statements
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax legislation, and internal control frameworks
• Implement and maintain strong financial controls and risk-management processes

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• BCom with completed articles (beneficial)
• 3+ years post-articles experience in a financial management or senior finance role
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting
• Experience within the industrial, production, or manufacturing industry will be advantageous
