Financial Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Fixed Assets Management Maintain the full fixed asset register, and ensure proper capitalization, depreciation, and reconciliations.
• Accounts Payable Function Oversee the AP function, ensure that supplier payments are processed accurately and on time, and enforce proper controls.
• Cashbook & Banking Manage cashbook reconciliations, monitor the daily cash flow, and ensure accurate banking records.
• Financial Reporting & Analysis Prepare management accounts, budgets, and ad hoc reports for decision-making.
• Team Leadership & Compliance Lead and mentor junior staff and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Education:
  • BCom Accounting / Finance
• Experience:
  • 35 years in accounting / financial roles
  • Minimum 3 years management experience
  • Exposure to retail or multi-site operations advantageous
• Skills / Technical Competencies:
  • Lead the finance function in a growing, reputable business
  • Hands-on role with real operational impact
