My client is looking for a Financial Accountant in Johannesburg to take ownership of financial reporting, VAT and tax compliance, and ensure robust controls that support strategic decisions. Key Responsibilities:

My client is looking for a Financial Accountant in Johannesburg to take ownership of financial reporting, VAT and tax compliance, and ensure robust controls that support strategic decisions. If you thrive on detail and want to make a difference, this role is for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review annual financial statements in line with compliance standards.
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheets to ensure accuracy.
- Process and review journals and reconciliations for month-end and year-end close.
- Manage VAT and tax submissions accurately and on time.
- Compile and analyse income statements for reporting purposes.
- BCom Accounting
- SAICA/SAIPA Articles
- 3-5 years post articles experience is essential
