Finance Manager, CA

Requirements:

• CA Qualification
• B-Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role

Duties:

There are 3 people reporting in, and duties include:

• Prepare monthly reports with financial commentary
• Deliver monthly accounting packs and completed month-end reporting
• Calculate provisions for bad debts, credit notes, and inventory
• Preparing year-end financial packs
• Draft Annual Financial Statements (AFS)
• Reviewed cashbook entries and accounts payable payments
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and conducted general ledger reviews
• Submission of all statutory requirements (e.g. All tax requirements, secretarial duties).
• Risk assessments analysis: Business and Financial Risks.
• Finance/Cash Management.
• Manage imports and exports with hedging.
• Comply to IFRS for SME requirements.
• Review all monthly general ledger reconciliations, together with supplier reconciliations.
• Prepare weekly and monthly cash flows.
• Manage and review the monthly management accounts for monthly finance management meetings.
• Cost analysis for operations departments for cost saving.
• Strategic planning to meet the objectives of the entity.
• Review of all finance functions done by the Finance team.
• Direct contact with External Auditors managing all audit queries.
• Compliance with the Companies Act
• Mentor the Finance team
