LifeCheq is a fast growing and innovative, tech-based financial consultancy firm operating in both Cape Town and Johannesburg. We help clients link their goals and values to an actionable roadmap, and help them achieve these goals.
We are currently expanding our operations in Johannesburg and Cape Town and we are looking for a candidate to support the CFO, Compliance function and central business functions by carrying out a range of operational activities. A key component of this role is building and maintaining systems and tools that allow the compliance tasks to be automated and be easily managed by a small team. A good example of this is building automatic reports. The successful candidate will be somebody who is able to design and build processes (using Excel/Google sheets and other tools) and should also be somebody who enjoys building processes. Candidates who are successful in the role will have opportunities to grow their career in the financial services and specifically in the field of business administration and business process design.

Duties and responsibilities
The operational tasks that the successful candidate will be required to manage include:
Tracking the onboarding of all new consultants
Monitoring the ongoing status of consultants
Building and producing quarterly business reports for management and the board
Working with HR to maintain staff lists
Working with finance to maintain client subscriptions
Reviewing client files to determine where processes need to be improved and then working with the CFO and teams to design new processes.
Qualifications and experience
A 3 year degree in Maths, Science, Commerce, Engineering or IT is required
Preference will be given to candidates with at least 2 years’ work experience
